kirbyville and the playoffs

who might thay play in the first round

Kirbyville's district (18-3A) will play 17-3A in the first round. 17-3A consists of:

Athens
Brownsboro
Bullard
Rusk
Tyler Chapel Hill

The district standings currently are:

1. Tyler Chapel Hill (6-1, 1-0)
2. Brownsboro (5-2, 1-0)
3. Athens (5-1, 0-0)
4. Bullard (3-4, 0-1)
5. Rusk (2-5, 0-1)

I expect Chapel Hill, Brownsboro and Athens to make the playoffs with Chapel Hill going D1. So Kirbyville probably plays either Athens or Brownsboro in round 1

Kirbyville may be the best team in are area. They are so well rounded. I think they will take it deep into playoffs.

Saw Brownwood play last Friday.  The amazing thing is that the other team punted every punt out of bounds and pouch kicked any kickoffs to keep it away from Shipley.  Shipley has returned 6 for tds this year.  Big Spring double and triple teamed him all night and he still caught 6 for over a hundred yards.  I was really impressed.  The other thing that go me was they do not play anyone both ways and suited up over 60 players.
