The teams just got a little tougher with Woodville, EC, Newton, Kville (in the first half) and now AP. In the 2nd half vs Kville I seen a total different team that came out to play on both sides of the ball. If they play like that against AP for 4 qrtrs i see Kountze by 10 maybe more.

Anybody heard if Brooks is playing?

Sometimes you just have to look past the rankings and hope that Kville will have that combination of talent and good coaching and thats just a start. To be ranked is nice but to get that respect they will have to earn it and hopefully the rankings will change and will see them move up during the season. If i recall Muleshoe wasn't even ranked in preseason the year they beat us @ state.

I hate to say it but the Cats wont make it 3 rounds this year. A weak defence wont get you to the 3rd round. The team as a whole has greatly improved. Look for a short playoff run this yr but I have high hopes for next yr. Only loosing 4 starting Srs. 

CS has one of the best D's in the state and I don't think it would matter who they played. Dave Campbells Texas Football has them only giving up 67. Only 3 other teams have givin up less including all classes and one of them is Katy (44). I say the CS Trogans bring the 3A state title home this year and this Wildcat fan is behind yall all the way.

[/quote]I would like to think we win this one easy but the fact is Coldsprings is a very good team and they are well coached. The first game we played them this year was a tough defensive ball game. Even though the score was 20-6 it was alot closer game on the field. I know both teams have improved though the season and i think the improvement of our passing game gives us the edge we need. I say wildcats by 8.

In the Kirbyville vs Brownsboro write up it said the wildcats started the game off with an on-side kick and recovered it. Wrong!!! they did that against Center the week before.

Does anyone know about how many fans we put in the stands? Regular season and playoffs. Just curious if anyone has an idea
