*HJ vs SILSBEE REGIONAL FINAL BROADCAST* - SILSBEE WINS 53-50

Here we are again, for the 3rd time in the last 4 years, an HJ/Silsbee regional final! This marks the 4th straight year for the Hawks to make the regional finals and for Silsbee, this is their 4th trip in 6 years. This is a rubber game in two instances as these two teams split their district games this year and both have beaten each other in a regional final. Winner moves on to Austin giving district 21-3A a rep for the 5th straight year.

Our broadcast will start at 6:10 with a 20 minute pregame show followed by tipoff at 6:30pm.

Should be a very exciting game and a very interesting broadcast as we will have a Tiger and a Hawk on the headsets for tonight's broadcast. Rob and I are ready to have some fun!!

hawks 0-2 from deep early, but neither taken by sutherland.

a minute and a half or so in, 0-0, both teams combined for an 0-5.

Hawks finally break the ice, up 2-0, 2 minutes in.

Rico put in a close one, 4-0 hawks.  Sutherland had a shot at a bigtime three but it rims out.

Sutherland for 3, hawks up 7-2, and silsbee's 2 came off freethrows after a bad foul call.

Hawks miss an easy layup after a steal, and Silsbee scores on the next trip down.  7-4, hawks lead.

Hawks are up, but have missed several chances early due to misses and turnovers.  they really need every point they can get.  they should probably be up 11-4.  instead still 7-4, 2:45 left in the quarter.
