Why so happy about another Big 12 team losing?

Wasn't it just a few days ago t-sip fans were crying because other Big 12 fans were relishing in their loss?

this loss means my favorite team is #1 now.  if it were the tourney, and Texas was out, i would pull for Kansas.  ::)

Just a bigger bulls-eye on them now...  And with a tough road ahead, their first loss will happen by early February. 

On a lighter note, I think this is the first #1 ranking in the history of the basketball program.

In fact I say we don't make it out of January... What a brutal schedule coming up!

All RPI top 50 and higher except a dangerous Iowa State team in Ames and a OK State team in Lloylde Nobel!  Those away games make those two teams even tougher!

Talk about a meat grinder of a schdule.  If we com out with only 2 losses it would be a BIG TIME accomplishment.
