Ozen Panthers Overachievers or Real Deal?

The Panthers are without a dought a better team than the previous few years, Coach Nelson and his staff are doing a heck of a job!!! So with the Panthers sitting right at (2-2) and looking at getting the ship back right over in the Pear Orchard is it simply luck or are they for real?

I think they are overacheivers.  No way would I expect them to be in their curent situation with Nelson only being there for his first season.

not very impressive last week against lumberton, but L-town didn't blow me away either! I don't think it will be long for ozen to get to that point. just keep the existing staff in place and they will have some success... guaranteed.

I watched some good athletes Friday night ...DE knocked down (lost Count) passes and #1 is a Hoss!!

They have always had great individual athletes, so it sounds like this staff is reigning in those athletes to play as a team. Could be scary down the road.

The defense has been pretty stout from day 1.  It's been fumbles that have worn them out.  When the O makes no to minimum mistakes, the Panthers win.  They are so young in spots but not to the point which the 9th and JV teams suffer.  The future looks bright for the Boys from the Pear....

ill be sure to wake up early saturday morning and drink some while im reading the headlines that say ozen outlast centrals running game and wins a close one. I gave central their credit for being a good football team but this week IMO the panthers find a way to win

Ill have my coffee with three sugars and a splash of milk please. Have the family dog run and get the paper and sit back on my porch saturday morning cause it will be a beautiful cool morning and relish in the glow of success as i read the the front sports page about the preceived upset that happened on friday.

Im not big on predictions usually but ozen keeps hanging in there when a lot of things havent gone their way and i see that mojo continuing.

Central is just too physically strong for Ozen.  I don't think Ozen's offense will be able to move the ball much.  Ozen D is not bad, but i think they will be on the field too much, if it's anything like the Brook game.

When I saw Ozen play against PAM I said they were the worst football team I had ever saw, but they keep getting better and better so I give kudos to the coaching staff they are apparently doing something right over there.
