SETXsports Poll Question

Hey guys, I wanted to get your input on the poll we do for Girls Basketball.  In the past we have had just one poll that included all classifications.  Would you like to continue to see just one poll or would you like to see it broken out like our football poll?  

Ex. 5A/4A in one poll and 3A and under including private schools in another poll.

Your thoughts?

Thanks for the work Cat...my two cents is to divide it 5a/4A and 3a/2a/1a.  Not going to make everyone happy regardless, but at least you take out the arguing over who should be ranked higher with teams that would never or rarely ever play each other anyway..

Dividing makes more sense.  That way it gives a chance for more of the 4A/5A schools to be highly ranked.  ;D

Good point, but I think there is enough (at least 14).  Plus dividing it makes it impossible for OF or HJ to be ranked higher than BH in the same poll.  ;D

Keep the rankings at top 10 only.

We could have Dayton and Crosby also and the Baytown Schools.

Was thinking Dayton, GCM, Crosby, Baytown Sterling and Lee as well.  Here we go back to SETX boundaries though.

All of them, but not on the GBB board.  I'm ok with only including the 4/5a's in the "traditional" SETXSports area....in fact, might be best just to limit the poll to 20 4a, West Brook and PAM.  Exclude BH and Dayton.

I like this but I would like to add a couple of small school powerhouses and they would be in 1A Div II.

Leggett and Goodrich justified by having Coldspring, Shepherd and Splendora they are all in the same area of the woods.

2A-Private is tough, I can only get a Top 6...Then I don't know much about the rest of the teams.
