What does WOS have coming back?

Bridge City usually beats WOS in basketball...this was West Orange's year to make the playoffs..I don't expect them to continue to make the playoffs.

Hahahahaha!!!!!!!!!  WOS went to State a few years ago.............how can you say that BC "usually" beats WOS in hoops??  BC might beat them on occasions but not on a regular basis.

BC has beat WO-S 1 time in the last 5 years. How can you say BC usually beats WO-S? They always play us pretty close in BC, but to say that they usually beat WO-S is a joke.

BC has improved since Coach Knight has taken over, and they will be better next year. OF will be loaded. HJ and Silsbee will once again duke it out for the District crown.

WO-S will be happy to be the darkhorse again. The Stangs will have to replace their two leading scorers in Quest Watson and Donte Green, and replace a two year starting point guard. We'll be young, but more hungry than ever.

WOS teams look like football players playing just to pass the time away. You can tell their athletic, but not in basketball sense.

In my opinion the freshmen should have been on varsity

They were undefeated 7th and 8th grade..but there was only three of the eleven that were on A team that played!!!! The rest are focused on baseball.

It just hit me but last year bridge citys 8th grade last year lost to st Anne and Henderson

Dove

HF got blown by 40 both times against WO-S so-called "football players".

I love these kind of comments.  Dove, don't you know that because the town you are from lost this year to WOS you know NOTHING about basketball.  ::)

As someone so eloquently stated previously, the HF basketball future is inextricably tied to UNIVERSAL OFF SEASON

    • I will never understand why someone cares what decisions a family makes regarding their own child? Maybe Joe Burrow learns great life lessons from burning up all his eligibility sitting behind Justin Fields at Ohio State but I’m sure him and his family feel like they made the right decision by transferring to LSU, becoming the #1 pick and now being the highest paid QB in NFL history. Same for Kyler Murray, Baker Mayfield and Jalen Hurts at their first stops.    I think it was more beneficial for Reggie Branch to transfer to Crosby and end up having an opportunity to play for a state title versus staying at GCM and learning life lessons while he loses and probably doesn’t go D1 because his team is a perennial loser. If Robinson throws for 2k yards this year it’s going to be a lot better for his recruitment purposes than sitting on the bench at BH, not to mention he’s going to get significant looks because of the kids he’s on the team with and the offers/commitments they’ve already made. He’s not being taught to run from competition, he’s being taught to gamble on himself just like all those other guys I mentioned did.
    • You have found Utopia. I live in the real world.
    • Every Yuppie wants one.  Give me a V-8 with loud pipes, and they can have their electric vehicles.  Was working a major incident one day and we had a road blocked off.  Police vehicles with lights going and a kid pulls up in a Tesla.  He - let me stress that HE is sobbing uncontrollably because he is at 5% battery life and HAS to go down the road we have blocked to get to a charging station.  He pulled over and literally threw a temper tantrum because we would not let him through.
    • Have you noticed that it's always the libs that bring up race?  For a long time now whenever a lib is losing an argument or have nothing else to say they bring up racism.  Or something silly like institutional racism.  LOL!
    • Ha!  Whatever that means!
