Mballer1 Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago I knew this would be a tough game after that big emotional win last week against HF can’t lay down next week either at Shepherd . Quote
TexasBoy89 Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago Sounds like the 2 key things the Tigers need to work on is the low snaps on offense and how to contain a running QB on defense. Quote
TrojanWarrior08 Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago Was this game close because of rain or because Silsbee lack of discipline on both sides of the ball just wanted to know? Quote

Silsbee down to their 5th RB. (who did a great job tonight but the kid is also the starting inside LB) Penalties didn't help either from what I am told and the fact that HJ has a great athlete at QB. Next week's game vs Shepherd hopefully will be a different outcome. Quote

Well, as always rain will impede the offense more than defense. Being down five RBs and still having one run for 200+ and 300 or so as a team shows pretty good discipline on the Oline and down field blocking by the WRs. Yes, we all would love a perfect game by our offenses. The defense seemed to be a half a step behind all night. HJ QB and RB was able to get to the edges. While Silsbee had it's fair share of TFL, HJ was able to get some big plays of their own. Quote

Is it a lack of defensive preference or because the QB and RB from HJ or coaching for that matter made it to where they could exploit y'all's defense in certain scenarios? Quote
TheSixthMan Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago I said it last year and I still think it hold true this year, HJ’s #1 the QB/WR/DB is probably the best overall athlete in the district, he will be greatly missed and HJ is a completely different team when he starts at QB.(Only 2nd game of the season that’s he’s played QB) Quote
