Benefitted from what??? Lufkin went to New Caney and won an ugly game that NC had an extra week to prepare for. I'm glad you saved your money and stayed home, and no one made you waste your time watching the game. The game became ugly because the officiating would not let either team fart without throwing a flag. No official gets paid enough to be that participating in a HS game.

New Caney holds a lot, their players got away with getting in the officials face twice without getting a flag. Lufkin took the NC bait too easy and then would not shut their mouth even when told on the sidelines to stop. I don't understand HS players.

The bottom line is no matter what you say, Lufkin scored and New Caney did not and that's a win. You've talk so much about it must be a hurtful subject for you. Any team going into NC to play with that crew officiating is in for an ugly night of football.

Exactly, a win. When is a road win diminished because it was only 7-0 ?, If PAM went to LaPorte and won 7-0, would you look at it any different? Just asking.

I guess Lufkin did benefit because New Caney had 8 unsportsmanlike penalties in the game, Lufkin had 4. New Caney decided to play "Bad Santa". The other thing?, New Caney ISD had about 7-8 police officers on the visitor side who ended up standing around the concessions all game talking and swapping lies after they realize there would be no trouble on the premises. LOL

If the game was played like last night's game, then no.

Both teams really played bad. One just played worse than the other. There really was no good play last night.

Part of me saying Lufkin benefitted was due to all those penalties. Cost NC two TD's.

I'll go down swinging saying this game was lost more than it was won.

Pretty embarrassing offensive performance from Lufkin. Not defensively. A win is a win I suppose. But man we have to get healthy on offense and figure some things out. 80% of our offense are sophomores that are starting on varsity for the first time ever this year. We also played several freshmen last night, I think 3 maybe 4? Either way.
 

Also, What happened down in Lufkin last Friday is beyond me. Credit to that United QB and receivers, but man. I’d like to run that one back. It was a strange week to begin with from Lufkins part, not gonna get into details on anything but yeah. We got whipped and we gotta own that and move on. 
 

Looking forward to the final stretch. Gonna be interesting.
