Lufkin is hard to figure out.   Great Head Coach,  lots of talent, and great fan base.

Something is not right!!!!

Gotta give the program time. Talent is there, they just youngins.

I got us 28-14…. However, i can’t discount Lufkin history and pedigree. Let’s look at some non football stuff going into this game. First thing is, I feel like this game was circled on their schedule. PAM embarrassed them last year making history. They had not been goose egged at home since 88 or 89, so revenge is on their mind. Next thing is , this is a farewell tour for their stadium. They want this game. From what I saw on TV the first game, they are not fast side line to side line on defense, which helps us. Next year they will be a force to deal with.

......because what can you say about a game where the home team is a 25 point underdog. It seems Lufkin should provide no road block to the PAM Titans journey through 9-5A.

It shouldn’t be what no one else says about your team you should feel your own way

.....and I do have strong thoughts about my team and have a long long time, even played DE for them back in the day. Just saying I let sleeping dogs lie and let the predictors do what they do, that's the easy part, you still have to play the game.  There will be crucial games in this district every week.

You may as well stay here with the other LP folks. At almost 64, I need all the LP reinforcements I can get. Even if they are colorblind. 😉

I can’t I need some entertainment

Lufkin fans may as well come over to this forum instead of the one for east Texas. They’re more involved down here for the next 2 years at least.

Well, our non district games are usually with Longview, Nacogdoches or Tyler High, a mix of the old East Texas 5A we use to be a part of 20+ years ago. So we are involved in the

Interested in seeing if #10 for LP (QB1) has a "spy" on him most of the game.

Won't need one he is not a main runner in the offense, he scrambles when he has too. Nothing more.

One thing about this game is PAM brings a physical presence, one thing for Lufkin's side is they have already experience the hit in the mouth scenario with Longview two weeks ago.  As good as PAM is this year they won't bring any more than Longview did to the table, so I don't think there will any unexpected surprises for the Panthers. Maybe another dose of hard learning comes along for our young guys, but it won't be as if they don't know it's coming this time, as two weeks ago.
