BREAKING: A fourth tanker has just been attacked and hit by Iran in the Strait of Hormuz US-backed southern corridor. It sustained structural damage.

This is the first time four vessels have been attacked in a single day since the war began.

There are factions and leadership inside Iran that want to make a deal, and there are hard-liners in the IRGC that do not. These do not sound like some coordinated attacks, but rather some hard-liner trying to sow chaos. But if it continues, things are going to escalate.

That’s why Trump’s decision to start this war was so totally bush league. There are hardliners and chaos sowers all over that region that will try and use the instability to their advantage. For him to state at the beginning that it would be over in a couple of weeks was 1(ignorant, 2(insane or 3(an outright lie. I go with 3.

I believe both Vance and Trump have mentioned there are different groups that do not agree with the deal Trump is making with the current leadership.  They have also mentioned that communication can take days because the gay leader does not want to give away his position.  Taking that in to consideration along with the fact that none of the leadership is willing to go in public, there may be a leadership/communication problem.....

So, to me that makes Slim's statement believable.

Exactly what part of my statement was untrue? I never said "small" factions, you added that. I said there were factions and leadership that want to make a deal, and hardliners in the IRGC that do not. I also said these do not seem like coordinated attacks, but rather hardliners trying to sow chaos (shooting a projectile towards a tanker). I also stated that it will cause things to escalate...it has. You don't have to be in the situation room to apply some common sense and see what's going on. 

But I do agree they are playing us. And it's probably about to get ugly.

I don't think they are going to like the result. 

I think trying to work with them before we go all out is a better look than not giving them a chance and blowing them away.
