Trump is escalating his rhetoric to force Iran to the negotiations table. This is a fact.

But if Iran does not give in, what then?

Then he looks like a loser who throws around empty threats, and he will actually have to follow through on military escalation. Even if he will not nuke Iran—which he won't—he will need to escalate the attacks to not look weak.

That's the problem.

I think his mouth is writing checks that all of us are going to have to cash.  They’re not going  to to back down, and he’s either got to do something or go home like the draft-dodging coward that he is.

BREAKING | IRAN just warned of hitting US power and energy infrastructure in such a way as to deprive the U.S. of oil and gas for YEARS. Maybe that only means closing the Strait of Hormuz but technically that is NOT what the Revolutionary Guard spokesman SAID.

"We will deal with the infrastructure of the U.S. and its allies..."
 

Iran is not going to back down.

I think he’s blinking first. He’s phrasing it as a 2 week cease fire if Iran opens the strait of Hormuz. I think we’ll know if Iran accepts shortly, depending on whether or not they keep bombing stuff over there. 
 

I’ve got a feeling that they’re itching to make Trump look bad, as in “it’ll be over when WE say it’s over.”

Obviously he’s been trying to make a deal but how do you do a deal trustworthy deal with radical Islamic Muslims? It’s an evil ideology that can’t be trusted.

I’ve wondered here lately if the Israeli leadership is truly representing the lineage of Abraham, Issac and Jacob. I am certainly not a biblical scholar but it has crossed my mind here lately.

I don’t claim to be a scholar either but many real scholars use this scripture and others for unwavering support to Israel. I don’t understand today’s lineages but the land itself is a part of Gods covenant with Israel.

Me either, but it may give Iran leadership a chance to see sunlight, maybe stretch their legs….

Maybe this is a intelligence mission and we are hoping the leadership comes to the surface so we see where they are hiding…so if they break the cease fire we will hit them harder….

It does give us a change to resupply and reload…..and give our soldiers a little break.
