I hope he/she is safe, and not mistreated. I feel badly for the folks of all of the pilots who are wondering if this downed pilot is their loved one.

Yeah… I knew that. That’s why I used singular pronouns in my initial post. But I’d expect them to have ejected in the same area, and we’re operating there now-but the other pilot hasn’t been located. It sounds like the bad guys must have scooped them up.

I was wondering the same thing. The rescued pilot should be able to tell if both ejected. If so, shouldn’t they be in a close proximity? To me, the article is vague, probably by design.

According to the news I was watching, they sent helicopters in for the rescue during the day, which they said was not the norm, if they were in the same area, I hope he is hiding well and the copters smoked any mad guys in the area 

There is talk on X that the second has been rescued, but nothing confirmed.

Last week President Trump told the public that the Iranian military was destroyed, the United States had total control of the air space, the war was won, and the operation was near complete.  I guess not.  We have a F-15 down and a missing pilot.

Last week President Trump told the public that Iran wanted to make a deal very badly.  I guess not.  We're having to send B-52 bombers to the region to destroy Iran's infrastructure, which will make the everyday Iranian on the street angry at the United States for destroying their water and electricity supplies.

Has anyone in Iran found the uranium that was days away from being enriched to a level for nuclear weapons?  Maybe it's hidden with the weapons of mass destruction that Iraq had in the 1990s?

Even President Trumps strongest supporters have to be thinking, has he embellished the truth and gotten us into another Vietnam, Iraq, or Afghanistan/Taliban situation?

Everything that I’m seeing indicates that the second pilot is still missing. 
 

But they’re also reporting that the Iranians also shot down a Warthog yesterday, too, but that pilot ejected over the gulf and was recovered almost immediately.  Supposedly two of our rescue choppers took heavy, damaging fire during the attempted rescue of the f15e but made it back to base with injured crewmen.

Whatever the facts are, I’m not seeing this as the decimating cake walk that’s being promoted.
