F15E down… pilot missing

I hope that the Iranians treat our pilot better than Pete Hegseth promised to treat their boys.

I hope he/she is safe, and not mistreated. I feel badly for the folks of all of the pilots who are wondering if this downed pilot is their loved one.

and No, you don't support the troops correctly.  I would only ay I hope the rescue teams gets them home safe.

Yeah… I knew that. That’s why I used singular pronouns in my initial post. But I’d expect them to have ejected in the same area, and we’re operating there now-but the other pilot hasn’t been located. It sounds like the bad guys must have scooped them up.

I was wondering the same thing. The rescued pilot should be able to tell if both ejected. If so, shouldn’t they be in a close proximity? To me, the article is vague, probably by design.

According to the news I was watching, they sent helicopters in for the rescue during the day, which they said was not the norm, if they were in the same area, I hope he is hiding well and the copters smoked any mad guys in the area 

There is talk on X that the second has been rescued, but nothing confirmed.

That’s the best of all possible turnouts. 
 

I felt like a lot of time had probably passed before the news got out initially.
