Yes, very convincing win. Alvarez is Alvarez. Walker has been on fire. For me, Peña’s bat, glove, and speed on the base paths has been awesome to watch. Paredes has been great too. Did I just congratulate the whole team? Lol

Not much to say about today pitching was pretty good as Iami only made 1 mistake, a 2 run dinger as far as I seen and relief pitching was good.  2-0 and 1 mistake was enough.  Just no hitting/scoring on Astros part.

Yep. Offense was the reason for loss today.

For the first time since mid April, Houston's team ERA is below 5 (4.92). It reached 6.47 just 3 weeks ago.

Pitching overall has definitely got better.

On the flip side, Astro batting has taken a bit of a dive the last three weeks. Houston has gone from an AL leading (2nd in MLB) .267 batting average to a now 3rd in AL (11th in MLB) .244 team batting average. Astros have gone from averaging 5.7 runs per game to 4.4.

I think the offense had to take somewhat of a dip with so many on IL.

Pitching is doing about as good as can be expected with who they have on staff.

Talks of a Paredes and/or Walker trade. Have you seen this?

I have seen on X talks of trading several players, including Alvarez.

I think Houston will wait to see where they are come trade deadline if they still have a chance to make playoffs.

Houston's minor league prospects are very very slim. Most have been sent up prematurely because of IL situation.

Those two would be the most likely to trade.

Thanks. For me, we didn’t “need” Correa when we got him back. I would trade him and his money. Again, maybe that’s why I’m not a GM.

It's more about salaries and getting more bang for the buck.

Houston's farm system is very depleted.

What a comeback. Astros score 6 runs in the 8th to win 11-9. Unbelievable.

I almost turned it off. When Paredes hit the 2 run HR, I stayed with a little hope. Never thought they would explode like that. Cam Smith with the game winner, but we batted around and everyone did their job.

Well pitching failed us again but hitting was so so lost 5-1 that's baseball I guess.  New catcher Price was 0-4 looked weak swinging.

Nice 5-1 win Lambert win.  Hader struck out the side top nine to close it out.  Lost my feed for most of game.  Not sure of all the stats.

Alvarez spoiled Morris’ debut…….Grand Slam.

Nice 13-2 win and I believe every player except pitchers got at least 1 hit.  Alvarez Number 22 now 48 RBIs.  Batting .316.  Didn't get to watch it but kept up with it on phone.  I'm sure Aggie will fill us in. Iami 8 ks in 5 innings

Told my wife that same thing yesterday……scored too many runs and probably won’t score tomorrow.
