As for the game. Sterling will have almost 2 weeks to prepare by kickoff and United will have had 3 days. Also how healthy is the United QB? He was knocked out against PAM. Sterling over United is Lufkins best chance to get in. 

 

I lean towards RSS beating BU. That’s gonna be my pick anyway for pick’ems. I think their D is good enough to pressure BU’s passing game. But, they’re gonna have to play outta their minds.

Understandable. I do construction, family owned small business in Lufkin, we did a job In Amarillo a couple years back. About as close to Dalhart I’ve ever been

I heard it’s still up in the air.  Heard the clear to play will happen this week, however, as a precaution, the kid may be forced to he held out.  
 

However, I heard there is a QB in the program that is a gamer and could get the nod.  And I’m not talking about the backup QB that played against Port Arthur…

That's the one I told him about. Both BMT schools have a very good freshman QB coming up honestly.

Yes they do. I have a kid on the freshmen team and I have watched both of those kids live this year. The United kid might have a little bit more juice but both are really impressive.  PAM has something cooking with that 8th grade QB James Jr. Really talented kid too.

It's going to be some battles between Beaumont, Lufkin and Port Arthur coming up on the gridiron.
