I remember  the 2005 state run Newton had and they matched up against Comfort in the playoffs . Comfort had a couple D1 receivers if I remember correctly. They were a very good passing team and scored 34 on Newton but Newton had a very good run game with Todrick Pendland and ended up scoring 63. Im Cool with high scoring as long as the Eagles have more in the end. Lol.

I believe it’s gonna be a high scoring game… East Bernard had some success throwing vs Newton but their WRs dropped quite a few passes… Problem is even if they caught them it probably didn’t matter because they had no answer for the Newton offense

I sure hope Newton pulls it off today.  They definitely look the part of a champion
