Uhhhhh…I think the military’s  oath of allegiance to the Constitution requires them to disobey orders contrary to the Constitution, thus sovereignty of the nation. If they believe the orders illegal, what’s wrong with protesting against them? Look what happened in 2016 when a bunch of people thought the election was illegal. Traitors, too?

It’s against UCMJ for military personnel (in uni’s or not) to actively participate in protests. If you choose to disobey a direct order, you are immediately taken into custody to await court martial proceedings.

The video I was able to find didn't specify what orders they were being asked to disobey. It was also a stupid request the video participants themselves wouldn't have followed while serving.

I am providing the Code of Conduct and consequences. A Servicemember gives up many rights. They knowingly do it when they choose to serve. It doesn't matter the circumstances. Active protesting by a Servicemember is disallowed, and disobeying a direct order will immediately send you to an Article 32.

When a Servicemember decides to disobey an order, they darn sure better make sure the order isn't legal. Very few orders qualify, and their entire life will be ruined if they're wrong.

POTUS hasn't ordered DOD personnel to do anything illegal or unconstitutional--regardless of this stupid video--and the DOD personnel know it. So do those on the video. Theater.

Trump calling the people's actions on the video 'seditious and traitorous' is also theater. He has no idea what he's talking about. Hyperbole by all.
