The interesting thing to me about that play (Jackson's TD) was that Coach ran it, he is usually pretty conservative and after getting a false start penalty, it would make sense to just take a knee, especially in light of the fact that PNG was getting the ball to start the second half. The mental effect on Montgomery had to be, something like,"What do we have to do to beat these guys? " IMO the play of the game.

Well, I missed my score prediction, but PN-G won and is 9-0 and will be playing in December.

I don't think anyone thought too much on PN-G losing this game but predicting a blowout is another thing.

Montgomery is a good team. PN-G is just a little better but certainly not 3 TD's better like you predicted.

I don't know exactly what point spread = a so-called blowout, but I didn't expect as close a game as it turned out to be, although  Montgomery always plays PNG a good game.  This one was a real barn burner.  BTW the score in the thread title ain't right.

Actually about what I thought. Was a little fearful that we might get beat. The half time adjustments made by Montgomery were good and shows really good coaching. Talented team that I hope to see back in quarter finals, but that means they gotta beat the team that so not speak their name, lol
