Been to Lufkin once and it was work related. I heard about the stadium and looking forward to the "atmosphere", not a slug at yall, but PNG lol. That weather kinda plays in our favor, but a wet ball, we haven't experienced. Every Friday has been blue skys, except this past friday. Don't sit up high, trust me. I hated it at a Longview game back around 99/2000 at Abe. Quote

Lpfan13 Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago Don't count Abseck and his staff out on this one. One thing for sure Lufkin will be well prepared. Quote
Lebowski Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago There’s only one way I see Lufkin winning this game. We would have to turn it into defensive slugfest. Our offense is too inconsistent to win a shootout. Especially going up against a defense as good as PAM. Lufkin offense is too dependent on the run and has trouble stretching the field. We couldn’t run on PAM last year. And we don’t have our stud WR to bail us out this year. The coaches have scouted Lufkin and know all they need to do is stack the box and make the Qb complete passes. One thing I’m confident about is our defense. I’d be surprised if they don’t show up ready to play. It will be a physical game. Just not sure our offense will do enough to keep our defense off the field all game. Quote

You have to take this analysis based on the last 4 games by Lufkin. PAM will be hard to beat , this is their year IMO, they will go as far as the talent they have will take them. Quote

I think the anomaly is PAM is better than Longview this year alone IMO. In fact, I think PAM and Angleton are the best two teams in 5A DI Region III. Better than LaPorte, Weiss, AMC and Anderson.
