What is he thinking?  This is no distraction.  This is  near and present danger.  We have a person overseeing the  Department of War who uses open channels to discuss Top secret information when he doesn’t know who is on the line.  Now we are courting and opening our country to well known supporters of Security Threat Groups..  Mat I hope you are right..

Building a relationship with an ally in the middle east is not a bad thing. They built an air force base and let us use it. That would come in handy if we needed it due to a conflict. Also training their military would hopefully put less of our troops in harms way if something broke out in the middle east.  Lets face it, the middle east is a time bomb.

We didn’t bring Iraq to the U.S. nor did we bring Afghanistan.  We went there to train there soldiers.  Qatar is a proven supporter of Muslim terrorist.  Hence, the reason for Israel bombing inside there territory.

I’ll be honest with you, our open borders where we had no idea who was streaming into this country was much more concerning than a controlled scenario like this.

-1996 - Let us set up an airbase in their country (largest we have in the middle east)

-2001 - after 911 they were a key player in counterterrorism..... 

Why can't we set up a training base for them like we have done for other ally countries?

Us having training/military bases in the Arab region is a benefit to those countries. Having a Muslim base in our country is a mistake and has no benefit. To think we can trust any lslamic military on our soil is asinine. Trojan Horse?

For the same reasons we are currently deporting so many people out of the country as we speak.  I don’t know it may be just bad timing.  Mind you we currently have US soldiers patrolling our cities.
