If you made below $16000.00 a year you had no monthly premiums Some plans had $0 doctors visits and I believe tier one medication may have been $2.00. One of the plans was Ambetter. If you made more you paid more but it was affordable for those who had preexisting conditions or needed surgery. Quote

One person was type 1 and could not afford insulin. Quote

We’re very familiar with the positives and negatives. My son was on Blue Cross Blue Shield bronze 6. His job did not offer health insurance. There was a law that jobs had to provide health insurance for their full time employees. To get around that the employer would only hire part time workers to keep from providing health insurance.
