Hard to tell from that video if there was malicious intent or not.

Was he ejected? it looked like he avoided the SS who was making the play and ran into the 3rd baseman. 

 I could be completely wrong. Just going by this short clip.

Sorry that he had to go to ER, however in the video you can’t tell if it was on purpose It was called interference and that ended the game. It appears that the Nederland trainer and head coach were the 1st ones to help the player after the incident Appears that this was just an unfortunate accident. The runner was trying to get to 3rd and the 3rd baseman was trying to get to the pop up, just an unfortunate accident

I really doubt the runner was trying to really hurt him. He was full speed 3rd baseman probably came out of his right side making it hard to see him running for ball. Just a freak play.
