I am not so sure the Astros can hit their way out of a wet paper bag. They seem to be getting worse every game. The way they are playing lately, I am not sure they will win the west. Heck the Rangers may catch them. The pitching hasn’t been good lately and the hitting has been atrocious

Yanks with 4 runs on 8 hits.

 

Texas and Seattle both lost today.

Since coming off the IL on Aug. 26, Yordan Alvarez is slashing .435/.563/.609 with eight walks in 32 plate appearances. Astros are 5-3 with him in the lineup.

Yes Alvarez is doing well, the other 8 hit and miss. 5-3 is not very good, but better than 3-5. Still not hitting well with RISP

Arighetti likely out for the season.  On IL for inflamed elbow.

Sad loss laste night to Yanks but that's baseball especially this time of year.  Need to take care of Rangers.  Still leaving too many on base.  But hey still in first place.
