AggiesAreWe Posted yesterday at 02:13 AM Report Posted yesterday at 02:13 AM Astros lose 1-0 on a two out bases loaded walk. smh rupert3 1 Quote
rupert3 Posted yesterday at 02:16 AM Report Posted yesterday at 02:16 AM Walk off walk in 10th by Detroit 1-0 absolutly crazy. I thin 28 scoreless innings for Stros but still 1 1/2 up. Good pitching and defense by both teams until the 10th. Quote
spidersal Posted yesterday at 02:16 AM Report Posted yesterday at 02:16 AM Well the Astros just wasted excellent pitching performances minus Ort who has been a weak link all season Now 28 innings without a run. Pretty pathetic! Quote
baddog Posted 23 hours ago Author Report Posted 23 hours ago Diaz was safe at home and that would have won the game. Brown getting out of the runner on third with no outs was amazing. rupert3 1 Quote
rupert3 Posted 23 hours ago Report Posted 23 hours ago The record for scoreless inning streak is 48 byth Cubs and the old Philidelphia Athletics. Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted 12 hours ago Report Posted 12 hours ago Saw this statement on X. I tend to agree with it. About time to relieve the stress and just see how the Astros baseball season is going to wind up--good or bad--and accept their fate. Injuries have decimated and the long season has ground them down rupert3 1 Quote
rupert3 Posted 11 hours ago Report Posted 11 hours ago It is unusual for first and second place teams to be in a slump at the same time. IMO I still think it's because of all the lineup changes etc. that the Stros just can't gel. I still think and hope they can still win the division. I don't think a wild card will be out of our division. Quote

I don't think a wild card will be out of our division. I am pretty confident there will be. Three teams make wild card. Currently, Seattle is behind only the Yankees (1 game) and tied with the Red Sox. They have a 2 1/2 game lead over the Royals and 3 1/2 game lead over Cleveland. Therefore, Houston currently has a 1/2 game lead over Yankees, 1 1/2 over Boston, 4 games over KC and 5 games over Cleveland. I don't see KC or Cleveland or Tampa Bay or Texas over taking any of the two for a wild card spot. 36 games left to play, so lot's can happen and the trend of late isn't good but I believe Houston will make playoffs as division winner or wild card. AggiesAreWe Posted 8 hours ago Report Posted 8 hours ago Well this wasn't the start we needed. Framber has given up 5 runs on 3 hits, walked 3 and has yet to get a batter out in the first inning. Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted 8 hours ago Report Posted 8 hours ago Trammell is injured and being replaced in CF by Melton. Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted 8 hours ago Report Posted 8 hours ago Inning finally over. 6-0 Tigers. Framber may not last 4 innings. Was a 33 pitch first inning for him. Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago Astros lose 7-2. Framber ended up going 5 innings. Gave up 6 in the first, 1 in the 2nd. Mariners lost as well so Houston still up 1 1/2. rupert3 1 Quote
rupert3 Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago Keep this up and Rangers will catch up lol Quote
