@89Falcon but remember that I said before the season began that if Coldspring had the same players from last season (which was true in a sense) they would not make it to the playoffs at all.  Truth be told we did better in district last year instead of this year.  The thing is that Coldspring always has had athletes there and that won't change it's all about the coaching for us but everytime we get a good coach ex. Barbay don't try to run him off especially when their football schemes have proven over and over again that this works.  This is one of the main reasons why you see Shepherd made it to the area round instead of Coldspring sitting home watching them or others.  I promise you if Barbay had our group of guys now we would not only would have not only won district but we would be in the playoffs now especially the only 2 seasons he didn't make it to the 3rd round or beyond was 2008 (my senior year) and 2009.  Anything else after that Coldspring has shown dominance.  Since then you've seen what has been happening and I think  our players the program and the fans needs that type of mentality back.

I said Coldspring was going to be much improved and had the potential. Injuries took its toll on the team and the team did not finish like I hoped. The team that finished the season was significantly depleted from the one that started. It happens in 3A ball. It is what it is.

100 correct since Coach Barbay the whole couture or culture of the town Coldspring has changed. We need seismic changes to return to our glory days @TrojanWarrior08!!

I concur & agree @89Falcon. We had the talents but injuries among other things let to our demise this season. I am going to try remain politically correct BUT CHANGES NEED TO OCCUR IF WE ARE GOING TO RETURN TO OUR GLORY DAYS.

I will say this my daddy taught me football 🏈 in my formative years. Franklin is one of the best 3a football teams i have ever seen. They are the complete package. Their offense is mult- faceted. The Lions can run & throw. #1 if I remember correctly is an awesome player. Their WR & TE TIMING IS AMAZING. They run their routes to perfection. I saw if the QB #1 target was not open, the #2  and #3 options were available. I like how they were always working hard or in moton to get some one open
