I think people need to understand that this team for kountze is 6 sophomores 2 juniors 1 freshmen  the only kid with real varsity experience is Sells. the big Warren kid played about 7 mins

I’ll say it again, when the 3 ball is falling the Lions can beat anyone . When they aren’t the long rebounds and run outs can make anyone look average. It’s a tough formula for long term success

Correct. A Buna win over Anahauc along with Anahuac beating Kountze could really set things up for that final district game.

I can see Buna beating Anahuac. Lost on a buzzer beater last time.

Wouldn't the scenario, put Kountze/Buna tied pending a Buna win in that last game? They would have to play a seed game if that were to happen. Kountze can all but lock up a spot with a win tonight over Anahuac.

Kountze will be tough at home tonight.  Sells is the best player in the district and his supporting cast has grown up quick.  Will Anahuac be able to close out this year when it matters.  This may be the most competitive district in the Golden Triangle where the top 5 can beat anyone any given night.
