I can see it now. West Brook wins state championship but some will come on here complaining they didn't win by a large enough margin and the QB didn't throw for 400 yards and 5 TD's.

You know, as a moderator, you're suppose to lead by example, Sanchez. If I could post a middle finger emoji, you'd get one. SMH. Grow up, little man.

Homerism? Cause I think West Brook can play with Cy-fair? Cy-falls and the Woodlands played with them and West Brook is better than both those teams offensively. Anybody that knows me, knows I'm always straight when it comes to the Bruins.

Yeah, you're definitely a homer. Got your head so far up their a$$, you cant see the forest from the trees. You are definitely not objective enough. When I made the comment about your golden boy QB, he wasnt playing well. Notice I haven't said much about his play, recently? That's because his play has definitely improved. However, it's just made us true football fans notice the next weak link. I'm not afraid to speak my mind, and if you dont agree with it, that's your problem. Yes, they are 6-0, but there is need for improvement. I'm not going to sit here and sell anybody a false Bill of goods because they're not in the same category as Katy, or North Shore. So, why would I give them praise for dominating teams when they haven't done that?

I think my example led pretty well.

Your example? Even when I was a moderator in this board, years ago, you were making snide remarks, getting under people's skin, and putting your nose in other people's business. You are your own biggest fan. You are not respected on this board, by posters, and other moderators alike. Do yourself a favor, and try going back to radio broadcasting.

I am broadcasting.

And, everyone, including myself, is free to post on any thread.

I have zero problem with some posters not liking me. Based on comments made on this site and off, I know that some do like me. That's good enough for me.

As for respect, I get my share.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion.  I know for a fact, I've had difference if opinion from GRAD, Aggies, 82, Yeoj, and many others.  I also take difference of opinion.  I can take jabs and give it back as the others I've mentioned can as well.

Respect?  Some I give and some I don't,  but ohh well.  This is a football forum.  So guys, let's talk football and talk about these rankings and move on. (Me being the peacemaker)

Should still be spoiled.  This 2019 WB team is putting up more PPG and more offensive yardage than last year.   And just like last year's team, they are 6-0 at this point.

No they lost to Strake Jesuit last year before district. They were not 6-0 my man

Dammit Archie, the 2018 state finalists are undefeated but their win margin is not big enough for some folk. I remember the '82 team and their start but don't recall folks jockeying for position to play those guys in December. You're the one with your head up your ace, you might look in your back pocket and find a snake.

We’ve had some differences on some topics in the past, but I’ve got respect for you. You know your stuff and you stay true to who you are... moderators should be able to troll and have a little fun without it getting too out of hand.

Dude you're full ish. There's only a handful of teams that are in the same category as Katy and North Shore. Not to mention those school have a significant advantage in enrollment numbers than West Brook. I support the Beaumont kids. Maybe if you didn't live in Lumberton you would see it that way. And, if it's that personal to you, I sit in the same section at every game. Bottom section between the 50 and 45 on scoreboard side. Please fill free to walk up to me and explain it to me.

    • We'll see. I don't trust us.
    • Starting pitching has been shaky the last few weeks due to some injuries outside of Hagen Smith.  He goes tomorrow, so y’all should be fine
    • Manchin may get it but any mention of the radical left that wanted to get rid of the filibuster and end almost 220 years of history because the Democrats are mad?  The House and Senate are obviously different legislative bodies with entirely different election processes and rules for a reason. The House can vote on laws with a simple majority vote. The Senate put rules in place that it would make it much tougher to pass laws. Laws should be difficult to pass. The Senate is often the holdup of the right and left. It takes 60 votes to break the filibuster so any law will almost certainly require agreement at least in part, from opposing sides of an issue. Because they can’t get laws passed, the radical left is like a baby having a tantrum and wants to change over 200 years of history and make it potentially ridiculously easy to pass laws. I have seen current poll maps and it is possible for the Republicans to sweep into complete power in November but by the tiniest margin. That would possibly mean that a single vote margin in both houses could enact what you might call the radical right laws. There would be nothing that the Democrats could do to stop any legislation whatsoever if the left (they are all radical, minus Manchin) got their filibuster rule changed.  That is where the current filibuster comes into play as any new law would require several Democrats to agree with the majority Republicans and vice versa.  Do you want the potential for your radical right to have free rein as the radical left wants by killing the filibuster or is the radical left just as (if not more) dangerous? Let’s see if we have a history in this area? Oh yeah, the Democrats changed the rules in the Senate to allow federal judges to not have to overcome the filibuster. Obama was not getting his federal judge nominations passed and being angry, they changed the rules instead of nominating more moderate justices. They were warned that it would come back to bite them. They didn’t care and chose the nuclear option to change the rules. Oops! Any guess how Trump got all of his Supreme Court nominees passed against strong Democrat opposition? The Democrats got rid of the filibuster for federal judges after another tantrum   So when you are so worried about the radical right, are you equally concerned in what the radical left is always doing by changing rules and history which were put into place just for situations like we are in? So while Manchin gets it, what about his other 50 colleagues (49 + Harris)?  What concerns you more, Abbott and Paxton or the Democrats who want to make it to where if the Republicans do take over, they can go wild… at least in your mind?
    • MODS please remove that ISD twitter link! I had no idea it would copy the whole posting. I only highlighted the portion about the venue change. Sorry about that!
