walldrill Posted May 14, 2018 Report Posted May 14, 2018 Coach Stump is only BC coach to have taken Cards to playoffs four times. His teams mad enough the playoffs from 2009-2012. Heard Coach Stump leaving Diboll to come back closer to home. Quote

I’ve heard mention that Deshazo might stay on and carry on the Slot T, but I don’t know. They might try, but we don’t have the personnel. Stump ran a spread with a lot of 4 receiver sets and we were horrific. There just aren’t any kids with the skill set to move the ball down the field in the spread. I’d like to see them cultivate a passing game out of the Slot T. Kinda like the team that beat WOS in December. I doubt it. Most of the baseball kids are the sons of guys who should have played in the bigs if they hadn’t gotten screwed by their high school coach. We have a long tradition of baseball-only athletes. 2wedge 1 Quote

Braxtonsdad Posted May 14, 2018 Report Posted May 14, 2018 Stump went to the playoffs 4 years in a row because of the players he had. He was an average coach with a team of playmakers. His team made him look good those 4 years and when they left it showed Quote

Tiger33 Posted May 25, 2018 Author Report Posted May 25, 2018 Congrats to the new coach and nothing against him but I have feeling in 3 to 4 years there will probably be another opening unless he can really win there. Good luck unless your playing the Bears Quote
