Lol, Trump?  You scoundrel.  It wasn't a "logical explanation", but a "possible explanation".  I was merely pointing out a possible scenario that some fans are unaware of.  Though it rarely happens, once the ball is snapped, if any official blows his whistle, accidentally, or for the wrong reason, etc, the play is dead.  Doesn't matter what is actually happening, everything stops there.

If coaches may use a trick play, they'll inform the Refs prior to the game to avoid this very scenario.  You turn words around like Hillary :)
