Would adding Houston help Texas recruiting?  

 

Highly rated Houston kids aren't going to UH now.  Texas and A&M already get Houston kids.  Adding UH could get some of the kids to stay home like TCU did in DFW.  I would think it would hurt recruiting having another Power 5 team in the state.

I would add Cincy & Memphis.  2 new states & tv revenues plus new recruiting ground.  Adding Houston doesn't do anything for Texas or the big 12-2.
