A battle of two of the top teams in 23-3A is on tap tonight as the Buna Cougars travel to Winnie to take on the East Chambers Buccaneers.  The Cougars, 14-12 on the season, ran their district record to 7-1 with a 97-34 victory over Deweyville on Tuesday.  Meanwhile, the Buccaneers, 22-6 on the season, fell to 6-2 on the season with 90-81 loss to Kountze on Tuesday.

Why was it a bad loss? Buna, East Chambers & Hardin were all tied for First place going into tonight's games. Now, Hardin & Buna sitting at the top (9-2).

If they beat Kountze Tuesday nite, I'd agree with that but there's something going wrong at EC and Buna has been getting better so I actually expected Buna to win here.
