Carthage 56 Silsbee 40/Final

The Silsbee Tigers look to take the Class 4A, Division I Region III Championship as they take on the Carthage Bulldogs tonight!  The Tigers, 11-2 on the season and the #1 seed out of District 10-4A-I, began their road to this game with a 67-46 bi-district win over Tyler Chapel Hill and then followed it up with a 35-21 area round win over Sealy and a 43-42 regional semifinal win over El Campo last Friday.  The Bulldogs, 10-3 on the season and the #2 seed out of District 9-4A-I reached this round with a 44-20 bi-district win over Bridge City, followed by a 34-0 area round win over Stafford and a 55-48 regional semifinal win over Navasota.

The winner of this game will face Waco La Vega, the Region IV Champion, in the State Semifinals next weekend.
