The WIsdom Of Thomas Jefferson...

Thomas Jefferson, the orginal author of the Declaration Of Independence, wrote: " The Constitution... meant that its coordinate branches should be checks on each other.  But the opinion which gives to the judges the right to decide what laws are constitutional and what not, not only for themselves in their own sphere of action but for the Legislature and Executive also in theirspheres, would make the Judiciary a despotic branch."

Sorta like we are seeing now -- and for many, many years --  where one single judge can redefine marriage and make sodomite behavior so-called legal.  Or -- make abortion Constitutional where the Constitution say nothing of the sort...

IMO, if T Jefferson and several of the leaders of the Revolution where to show up now, they'd immediately prepare another one to take back Washington from the current Socialist, Communist, Anarchist, that are now in charge of Sodom DC.

What great visionaries those men were. We dont have anyone in Washington today that would make a pimple on their arses. Absolutely no wisdom whatsoever.

You're So Right bdog!   Most of my life I just thot of them as the F.Fathers, but as I've gotten older I'm Amazed at their vision and foresight. It boggles the mind.  But not even those great men could have anticipated what has happened in the last several decades.

I have to give Bill Clinton good on one thing.  The story I heard, he was having a meeting of @ 10 "high up, smart" folks in the WH, and said something to the effect that, This is the most intellect in this room since Thomas Jefferson was in it.  Gives you an idea that even Bill had been impressed.   Wasn't a Bill fan back then, but he was a screaming conservative compared to what we've endured the last 7 years.  God help us!
