Cleveland (6-2) at Coldspring (7-1) -- Coldspring again is involved in the big game of the night.  The Trojans clinched a playoff spot with their win over Tarkington Tuesday night.  Cleveland needs a win to eliminate Tarkington and clinch a spot of their own.  Cleveland handed Coldspring its only district loss two weeks ago, 84-70.

Liberty (1-7) at Tarkington (4-4) -- Tarkington's playoff hopes depend upon three things: 1) They must beat Liberty,  2) Coldspring must beat Cleveland, and 3) The Horns must beat the Indians in Cleveland next Tuesday.  Liberty showed signs of life with a narrow defeat in Splendora Tuesday night, but they are still out of the playoff picture and just playing out the season.

Splendora (6-2) at Shepherd (0-8) -- The Wildcats get an apparently easy warm-up for their showdown with Coldspring next Tuesday, in which they will likely be playing for a share of the district title.  Shepherd's seniors would love to win their last game on their home court, but it's going to take a pretty big upset to get it done.

What the heck is wrong with this Coach from Splendora all that talent and this? Padre Vela better getting it going and I mean quick before we have some issues.  ;D

theres nothing wrong with Vela.  The've been playing about like one would expect.  He's a good coach.  All that talent????  Yeah, they have some talent but obviously you havent seen the talent that Cleveland and Coldspring have as well.  It's a totally different level of talent.  two totally different styles of basketball as well.

Liberty has all that talent but they just get out coached, liberty could be one of the best in the district

Outside of Shepherd this district was pretty evenly matched with Coldspring a notch or two ahead.

Splendora.. Talent??? yeah I would take 5'6" over 6'5" too buddy.. If you want to see talent watch coldspring and cleveland. If you want to see well disciplined teams watch splendora, and Tarkington. Question for you how many playoff games did splendora win before Vela got there. Splendora's talent was Sindelar, and he graduated, but they are still a playoff team. Dont bash a good coach.
