Huh?[/quote you didnt hear about the letter the 47 republicans sent to the leader of Iran opposing President Obama's nuclear program. That was wrong. Treason definition: the act of betraying someone or something, the crime of betraying one's country.

She's struggling with the definition of treason.....I'd be willing to be she doesn't know it......and I'd LOVE to see her fit what the 47 courageous senators did into that definition.......

stupid not courageous. John McCain said it wasnt a good idea in hindsight.

Oh, I heard about that. Also there's some lawyers who say it was against the law.

The claim of treason is ridiculous. All a person has to do is look up the law on treason and see how stupid the claim is. To make it short, treason requires waging war against the US or giving aid and comfort to enemies.

The Logan Act claim is another joke. There has never been a prosecution for it and it is likely unconstitutionally vague in any case. The very title of the Logan Act in the US Code is Private Correspondence with Foreign Governments.

I supposed that some think that the US Congress is "private correspondence".

The letter sent to Iran only states US law and Constitution. If stating the law is a crime, then there sure must be a lot of criminals out there. Had part of Congress tried to carry on separate negotiations it might have some valid point but the senators merely stating the law is hardly a violation of the Private Correspondence with Foreign Governments law.

Read United States vs Curtis Wright Export Corporation,299 US 304, It states that" only the President alone has the power to speak or listen as a representative of the nation. He consults with the Senate, but he alone negotiates, the Senate cannot intrude."

CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN THIS.

    • This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up From the article: “As a parent, then as a homeowner, if you have some equity in your home, then you can say to your child, you know, ‘don’t take out the loan,’” she said. “‘I’ll take out some of the equity to help you pay for tuition so that you don’t graduate with extraordinary student loan debt, and so that when you graduate, you can do your dream job.’” Essentially, Harris suggested that parents give their kids a leg up in the world by being the ones to take out a loan instead. Except theirs would have much higher stakes than just needing to be paid back — it could mean losing their home. 🤦‍♂️

    • It has been frustrating seeing the lack of coverage from virtually EVERY media outlet.  We (Chester) are in the SE Texas coverage area.  There are no radio broadcast from our area, and Ch 12 is the only one that has even mentioned it.   I know I could have gotten donations to cover a SETX Sports broadcast.  Oh well, water under the bridge - we aren’t as big as Silsbee, WO-S or PN-G.
