The Newton Eagles will be taking the field to put another championship trophy in the case as they take on the Waskom Wildcats for the Texas Class 3A, Division II State Championship.  W.T. Johnston's Eagles, 12-3 on the season, reached the championship game with a 48-21 victory over Blanco last week.  The Wildcats, 14-1 on the season, reached the finals with a 25-21 over Sonora.

You have to have TW sports package to receive Foxsports Southwest Alternate Channel 374. Newton game will only air on that channel due to New Orleans Pelican basketball game being on the regular Fox SW channel. This is because of the fact Rocket basketball is no longer on FXSW. We are in Pelican area coverage.

Time Warner is a yankee company....just don't understand the sports priorities in Texas...local cable company down here (Kingsville) is showing the fox sports sw telecast of every game.

Because Rockets are not on Fox anymore, then Fox has to follow the regional NBA TV coverage. We are in Pelican coverage area. Kingsville is in Spurs coverage area. Spurs do not have a game today but will be playing tomorrow.
