Final thoughts on this game:  AS has average size but above-average speed.  Their QB is small and doesn't have a strong arm, but he's very accurate and mobile.  They have a couple of receivers with good size and good hands.  Their tailback runs hard and moves well.  Defensively they fly to the ball well.  They will probably lose to Centerville but I don't know if anyone else will beat them.

Lovelady has struggled to score the last two weeks because their fastest player and #1 back is out for the rest of the regular season; he might make it back for the last game.  LL had a 75-yd interception return for a TD, a 50-yd run for a TD and a 40+ yard run called back due to penalties.  Hard to overcome that in a close game.

I think if LL was at full strength they would have won it but you never know.  LL is above average overall, especially defensively.  I'm an old fart and I've watched HS football for 40+ years including several state championship squads.  I'd say on a scale of 1-10, with this year's Mart being a 10, Centerville is an 8 and both LL and Anderson-Shiro are both 7's.  This is far from the best LL team I've seen, but they are young and will get better.
