WO-S's offense looked best when they went to Trey Baldwin. He ran all over the Newton defense. Otherwise they haven't done much.

 

Newton's offense has done a little, but that Calum Foster TD run was huge. As is the fact that Mandel King is out. But I'm sure Coach Thompson will make the necessary halftime adjustments

Seems like as usual the offense is slowing us down again this year! I don't understand why we run the ball all the way to the red zone and then start passing! They obviously can't tackle Baldwin!

Mandel makes a huge difference in that line. Coach T will get them lit up at the half. WOS is among the best at halftime adjustments. I do wonder sometimes why they can't make the adjustments on the fly and have to wait until the half. It cost us against Ennis is the title game a few years ago. Why are we passing so much?
