sbparent Posted May 13, 2014 Report Posted May 13, 2014 Seems odd that they are playing at Sam Houston. Very nice facility but seating is probably 400 seats max and no room for lawn chairs. I would think both teams travel well. Quote

I don't know how Hudson replaced their All-American pitcher from the previous 2 years, but I'm sure they still have good players. I'll probably try and catch the Saturday game. I hope the series goes 3 games, so I can catch a DH. Quote

DAMan Posted May 16, 2014 Report Posted May 16, 2014 I had the opportunity to umpire both schools this year. It will be a good series. Pitching was good for both teams in the games I had. I had Hudson vs Jasper, and Huffman vs Stafford. Both games were run runs for Hudson and Huffman. Quote
