DP70 Posted February 17, 2014 Report Posted February 17, 2014 Tatum (11-1) Bridge city (2-8) Henderson (3-7) Orangefield (6-5) WOS (11-2) Deweyville (9-2) Crockett (3-7) Corrigan (13-1) Garrison (11-1) Hemphill (0-10) Total record: 69-44 About the same as Deweyville's "B" schedule... :D  Quote
Amphibious Rodent Posted February 17, 2014 Report Posted February 17, 2014 According to wins and losses not that much different. But if you put Tatum, WOS, Orangefield, even BC and Henderson the teams Deweyville played, their records would look much different. Tatum and WOS makes it and A. Can't help, who is in your district. Don't believe Cc will lay down unless they are just having a bad year. Crockett is subject to be a player as well. Newton has to win out or at least give WOS a great game to be considered a threat to win state. And of course, like every year they are a threat. Quote

Back2swag Posted February 18, 2014 Author Report Posted February 18, 2014 Oh yeah and two of those 4a teams will be ranked In the top ten Quote
DP70 Posted February 18, 2014 Report Posted February 18, 2014 I am in no way saying Newton's predistrict is "weak". That's a heck of a predistrict. But Newton has showed that they are too much for 3A-I so they play up a class, just like we are. This is an amazing schedule considering the level of competition Deweyville is in. So because I am used to Sabine Pass, Evadale, West Hardin, Hull-Daisetta, etc., the new schedule looks like an A+. Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted February 18, 2014 Report Posted February 18, 2014 Newton has the toughest schedule in SETX on paper IMO. Amphibious Rodent, ChampionEagles and Back2swag 3 Quote
