You want to bring in Coach Sergeant to be the DC. Would that be the same Coach Sergeant that is the Head Coach at Hempstead with a 0-8 record and 13 of his 14 coaches wanting to leave. Yeah sounds like a great plan to turn things around. Watch out what you wish for, you just might get it!!!

You People need to get a clue. If you think You can do a better job than those guys on the Field, Get a Degree and put Your Job in the hands of a 15-18 year old. I know coaches all over Texas and no staff in the state puts in more hours than those guys. I bet you don't work 100 or more hours a week. I would love to Sit back and watch them critique you at your job, and then on Monday read what they have to say about you on some website.

Wrong. The only time Jasper applied pressure to Johnson was when the bad snaps happened. These were the only times he was "sacked" or dropped for a loss. Jeremy had plenty of time to throw the ball when he got good snaps. I agree that the Jasper secondary played well in coverage, but Jasper only was able to get to Johnson a couple of times. What Jasper's defense did do though was not allow Johnson to break a long run. They kept him contained in that aspect. Like I mentioned before, the 70 or 80 yards of losses from the bad snaps kept Jeremy's rushing stats so low, not the Jasper pressure. I think you need to think about the different kinds of pressure a defense can put on an offense. Could it be that the center from Silsbee was trying to block two very good defensive tackles and that caused the bad snaps? And if that is possible would that be a case of Jasper putting pressure on the Silsbee offense? Just give credit where credit is due. Yes Silsbee lost, but not because they beat themselves as some would suggest, but because of PRESSURE put on by the Defense. Great Job Jasper. Keep Things rolling up there.

Saw them play Nac. Def is solid but the O-line is not very good. I like Kirbyville in this one.

You might want to check your records. BC Did not win a district championship last year. Jasper did. So next year it would only be 2 in a row.

First let me start by saying I am 100% against steriod use. I hate that Major League Baseball has come to this point. But before we all go and grill Roger for it think about this first. Is "The Rocket" guilty of using these drugs, probably. Is he wrong for doing it YES. But so is every owner, every coach, every sports writer, and every fan that whatched a single game durning this era. The Owners knew the players were using, but did they care? No, they were finally putting people back in the seats after the strike year. Every steroid aided Homerun, every steriod aided pitch, and every steriod aided catch was dollar signs in the eyes of the owners. Even our President knew( he was the owner of the Rangers for awhile during this time). Every coach knew what was going on. When you are around those athletes everyday and they just get huge all of the sudden and hit 20 more homeruns than they ever have, You know whats going on. The sports writers knew but they didn't care because it was selling papers and adds on ESPN and Fox Sports. Then There is the Fan. We are the biggest hypocrites of all. We went to the games, We knew, Give yourself some credit. We are not stupid. As long as our team was doing well we didn't care. We knew and went and ignored it like everyone else. We are just as much to blame as the players who used them. If you don't think so just think about how many games you went to where you said "Yeah That player has to be on Steriods" but you went anyway. What message is that sending to your own kids? Blame Roger if you want. Blame MLB if you want. Blame the sports writers, or the owner if you want. But if you do, dont forget to put some of that blame right back on yourself. Yeah you didn't put a gun to their head and make them take steriods, but you did help them buy them with you ticket money.

My vote would be Coach Smith from Jasper.
