2.

Kville now holds the points tiebreaker in the event of a three way tie. Kville is at a +5, Woodville is at 0, and anahauc is at -5. This is per the district points scale. Woodville beat anahauc by 21 then got beat by 24. The maximum points allowed is 21 so this puts Woodville at 0. Anahuac beat kville by 16 but lost to Woodville by 21 thus putting them at the -5. Kville lost to Anahuac by 16 but beat woodville by 24 but could only use 21 of those points which put them at +5. If all three teams end up tied kville will be third place team and advance.
Okay. First, Woodville beat Anahuac 34-7. 27 points. Kville got beat by Anahuac, 32-16. 16 points. Kirbyville beat Woodville by 24. Which leaves Kville 19 points behind Woodville. And Anahuac behind Woodville. Not sure how the district points scale works, but your numbers are off.
Even if my numbers are off a little the point was that 21 points was the max points you could y use as far as the tiebreaker goes. Woodville got 21 against anahauc and lost 21 against kville leaving them sitting at 0. Anahauc got 16 against kville and lost 21 aginst woodville leaving them sitting at -5. Kville got 21 against Woodville and lost 16 against Anahauc leaving them sitting at +5. This is how the tiebreaker works. If you dont believe me go ask your head coach, he will tell you the same thing I just did.

4.
Bottom line is: 1) Newton is in. 2) KV, Ktz, EC, WV, AP, all fighting to get in.  3) Two others are out. Still four games left, lots of possibilities in play.
+1
5. I saw them play Buna early in the season. I was a good game (33-30 if I remember correctly). They have some speed at the skill positions, and have a tall lefty at QB that can throw it a little. On D they looked a little soft againd the run. If a couple of calls go Buna's way they had a shot at winning. That being said good teams find a way to win games and get better as the season goes on, and I think Center is good team. Maybe not as good as Jasper and Carthage yet, but on their way up for sure.
6. Kyle Henson From Kirbyville. 13 of 18 for 311 yards and 3 TD's And Cooper from Kirbyville had 8 catches for 211 yards and two TD's, 2 Int's 2 pass breakups and 7 tackles
7. Congrats WARRIORS! Good Start to the season.
8.
Not sure about Kevin Barbay.  It seems that he was hired based on his last name and not on coaching ability.  Would bet that Warren will have another bad season and Kevin will be moving on down the road.
Hillister by posting a statement such as thais you show your utter and complete stupidity when it comes to highschool football. Turning a program around that has suffered a few losing seasons in a row is not an easy task. It takes a coaching staff, the players, the students, the teachers, and the community working together to get this done. The first thing that has to change is the attitude from and about this team. It does not happen over night, but it is happening in Warren. But I guess you did not get the memo about the attitude change. Warren is still a very young team with Sophomores and Juniors making up the Majority of the starting lineup. There will be some growing pains when you have such a young team. One week they will play great and another week they will have some serious meltdowns, but that is all part of it. I would ask if you have ever had a job where you were evaluated by what a group of 15-18 year olds did, but I already know the answer to that. If you had, you would never have made the comment. The scale you would have to measure Coach Barbay and his staff by would have to be how much better this team is than last years team, and I would say they have done a good job.
9. Wow looks like Jasper brought the sticks with them today!!
10. Not Sure about the Pitching but I do Know Center will be well Coached this year. Coach Brown is a good one!!
11. I have a few about watching Spoon play. The first scrimage of his Senior Year was at Anahuac. The first three plays He made every play in the backfield. Coach Martel of Anahuac stopped the scrimmage and walked over to Spoon and turned around and looked at his team and said "You see this Man, He is an All-State Linebacker. We Might want to at least attemt to block him. Today we are making him look all-world." As soon as Coach Martel stopped talking Spoon started Yelling as loud as he could, and promply made the next play in the backfield, at which time Coach Martel threw his hat and just walked away.
12. With Two of the areas best having a chance to go in the first round (Earl Thomas & Sean Weatherspoon), I would like to hear your best stories on the two. Either Watching, Coaching, or playing with them.
13. I also would say Parker from Jasper.
