As a player i find it hard to believe you're a fan.If you blame the team.... If you ever accomplish winning coach of the year, or have two outstanding years of baseball and re build a program, you will still have no right to make that statement. You obviously are a jealous man....From being on the field during the state game and going through the season, that comment just made me wanna spit..How can can a coach blow it when we as a team make a pile of errors..If you call yourself a buna fan i am down right embarrassed... Im pulln for my coogs in this one. I jumped on the band wagon with them last year and have enjoyed watching them play. But, the lions did defeat warren, and have started out on the right foot. . If the coogs are rolln it should be some good baseball along with the lions starting up with a bang. Should be a interesting matchup between the two. Good luck to both squads . Does any one know the pitching matchup. IS hillin still out with elbow pain? and who is kountze's pitcher with lonion graduating?

Ive heard the catcher from Jasper is out with a illnes? Does any one know how the kid is doing or when he is back? And will this put Jasper in a bind. I take the dogs by three. Mixon has them ready i assume.

There is too much (junk) talk going on around this post. Just from reading some of these. Kirbyville happend to get the best of Buna. Maybe the ville is not a bad as every one made them out to be. But remember. Teams can either start out hott, or slow. Im saying that Buna went to state last year, and regained there entire squad despite two. True, you cant live on last years epics. But, if the New york yankees, or Boston redsox, happen to lose to the Baltimore orioles, or the royals, sorry you fans out there =), who are you going to say is the better team? Who is going to appear in the playoffs. The way i see it, teams will get beat, teams will play bad ball for a while, but you have to know, baseball is a tricky game. LAst year if im right (cougar fans), Buna came behind from 8 runs in a playoff game in one inning? Thats just how tricky the game can be. Kirbyville won the game, but lets not smack talk about drums, or how bad a team is. OR fantasise about evadale hanging with Buna. I see it.. When kirby ville makes a trip to Austin, or beats the cougars when theyre rolling. All props to the cats. It will be interesting to see if kirbyville can make it as far as Buna or vise versa, and see this match up for a austin trip. Class is the key. Good job cats, Buna.. Get it rolln

Not to bad of a opening night for both squads. A little shaky here and there, but silsbee came out with the victory. This loss for the cougars could very well help them in there state tital run. As for the tigers. Congrats on the win. This will be a good momentum builder going into the season. Good luck to both squads

Should be a good game tuesday night with silsbee coming off a strong year and Buna re-loading. Any predictions?
