I dont think she was losing the arguement I think she was stating facts as well. Im curious though and like she said how can you compare the two or three players? You had alot of stats from VERY different ERAS but you also had ALOT of "what ifs" and "buts." I think the only way would be able to make a fair comparison is if the games,positions played,at bats, and era was all the same. Plus bonds was never a pitcher yet thats another stat you throw out there.

Also, since you havent played Silsbee or WOS personally on a varsity level, you have no idea how much "wood" WOS and Silsbee can bring. Great young QB coming in at WO-S named Hypolite, and the guy who steps up at wide receiver will likely be Chase Adams, who'll join Ronnie Dennis, a starter last year. Also, Franks' brother, Tre, will be playing, and is supposedly the "most talented" among the brothers (Kerry, Jacoby, Tre). Considering the other two are at A&M and Texas Tech, that bodes well. Chase, Hypolite and Franks come up from the 9-0 JV team.

I dont remember the year but it was WO-S and CC Calallan in the dome, it was by far best, most exciting game Ive ever been to.

ok,lets say 15-20 pitchers who struck him out per year were using performance enhancing drugs that added a little more break or 5-10 mph more on their fastball... this could go on and on and on.

I would say Ben Johson would say it helped with explosion, which is exactly what a swing is.

You do need explosion on your swing,BUT YOU STILL HAVE TO PUT THE BAT ON THE BALL THAT IS COMING AT YOU SOMETIMES AT OVER 90-100 MPH OR A BALL THAT LOOKS STRAIGHT THEN DROPS.ROIDS MIGHT HELP WITH STRENGTH BUT IT DOESNT IMPROVE YOUR ABILITY TO HIT A ROUND OBJECT WITH A ROUND OBJECT FLUSH.

guess on certain counts as to whats coming,weightlifting,spending time practicing on that one aspect, gaining knowledge of the league and how certain pitchers have pitched you in the past with certain counts,etc,etc, all these things help with the inside fastball. c'mon man come with something that makes just a little sense instead of these weak arguements.
