[/quote] If you are refering to me as being the "author"  I just grabbed this off of someone elses research. I was wondering about the amount of games as well. is it possible that Dayton didn't field a team some years? Looking at my source in 1931 Dayton beat Humble in Bi District then beat Crocket for the Regional Championship. I t also shows that Dayton just played 6 games that year total. I'm not sure how things were done in the 30 's  ;D ,but maybe you didn't have 10 game seasons like today

[/quote] Yeah and no telling which one is right it looks like our first meeting was in 1935 where BH won then we tied the next year and then Dayton went on a 7 game winning streak until 1953 we came back alive ;D Its cool looking at all of this stuff. I also found that BH won the Reginol championships ( which is far as they could go) in 54,55,58,62,63 and went undeafeated in 40 & 41 and couldn't go past bi district (Similar to the last 4 years :) )

One thing I think your forgetting is dayton played last year without the best running back in our district. So dc pick might have been a little different had than known jakari was not going to play. [/quote] Doubtful, I think DC will pick Dayton #1 every year regaurdless of what information is out there just because of history. I don't think there is a clear favorite to win district this year and believe that Dayton, BH , Crosby or Summer Creek can take the district. Dayton looks to return the most players from last years team, but no big names that I see (Beside the kicker), but another year under thier belt will make them better. Don't know about Summer Creek, but i'm sure they are going to be pretty good. Crosby is the one I'll be keeping my eye on with a new coach and them dang TWINS!!! ;) BH will still be good on Offense, but they are going to need kids to step up to fill all of those Defensive holes. It's going to be a fun year, This is the most competitive this district has ever been and if you don't come to play then there are the King Wood Park, Humble and CEK that might just steel one from ya.
