  1. We are doing our best. My best player has chrones disease and it is wearing him out. He needs surgery but can't get it. Probably won't play this season. Right now we are focused on his health and not his basketball. Probably the best kid I have ever coached. Those boys in Htown this year would kill people with the five out. I hope TB is considering it, but he knows best what to run. Not the Woden of old, but they are the kind of kids I like to coach. Come see us play some time.

  2. That is what i prefer to run. I think it is easier to rebound out of it, you don't necessarily have to have great shooters, and it can be ran with true post players. Someone said it is about matchups and when you find that mismatch you post that person up. Nos is correct in all of his comments. I think it is becoming more and more popular. However, it is not easy to teach. It is very similiar to Princeton in that the fundamentals of it consists of backdoor cuts and reading your defender.

  3. Last night i witnessed one of the best moments I have ever seen in Basketball. Coach davis from HJ clutching both Bailey and Spikes for several minutes each. Clay you are a class act. that is what this is all about, awesome moment. I bring my son to watch HJ games every time I get the chance and that is why.  Good Luck HJ, awesome season Jasper.....

  4. this should be a battle. I know the best player on the floor tonight will be bailey. I just don't think he will have enough help to get it done.  H-J has the experience to win the close games, but Jasper has Bailey, who is the best player in Eastern Texas. I still say Jasper will come up a little short.  HJ 69 Jasper 66

  5. This kid is phenominal. He single handedly beat Huntington tonight. I love the Devils but it is truly amazing how good he is. I can really appreciate a good kid, with that kind of basketball talent, even if he is on the other team. Bailey is the best player in the district hands down. Good luck Jasper the rest of the way and in the playoffs, and good luck to whomever has to guard Bailey...
