    Soulja..you need to re-read my post. I NEVER said that PNG was the only people that bring fans. I was responding to an ignorant post about us staying home and playing. I think The Butch is a awesome place to play and have never said anything to the contrary. We do pay a rental fee and BISD benefits from concessions vs having the game at PNG where they would make NO MONEY off the game....that was my point. It is funny to see how people jump to conclusions and take the ball and run with what someone said, especially when you throw a jab at PNG in the process. There are a lot of PNG fans, including me, who will be there Friday to support the Jags, so I am not sure what's up with the attitude towards us. Stop being so defensive...GEEZ!

    The Carrol A. “Butch” Thomas Educational Support Center is not charging a rental fee for playoff games that are played there.

    So far, the Support Center has landed three playoff games. Port Neches-Groves plays Barbers Hill at 7:30 p.m. Friday, West Brook plays Pasadena Dobie at 1 p.m. on Saturday and Livingston plays Dayton at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.

    The money from the gate will be used to pay workers and officials and any remaining money will be split between the two schools, said Beaumont ISD athletic director Rodney Saveat.

    Saveat says not charging a rental fee is a fairly common practice.

    Yes it can. There is actually 2 entrances from Fannett Rd. If coming from Walden, there is the main entrance right behind the visitors stands. If coming from Brooks/Major, the 1st entrance will actually lead you to the home side, w/out going through the visitors parking; the 2nd entrance is behind visitors.

    Signature Signs and Printing is making white (and some grey) t-shirts with front of shirt having the flying WOS logo/12/Reggie Garrett (just like my avatar).  Only difference is the WOS is navy and the #12 is white "Reggie Garrett" name is navy.  On the back it says 112% in navy.  Cost is $10.  Donating all proceeds to the scholarship fund established by Tony Dallas.  Call 409-842-9900 if you want one.  Store is at 3450 Dowlen Road (across from World Gym).  Hours 9AM-5:30pm M-F.  Only 250 available.  Prefer checks only.  Checks payable to the Reggie Garrett, Jr. Scholarship Fund.  Reason we prefer checks made payable to fund is we are doing this as a service to the community and the scholarship fund.  Do not want to run through our store finances.  Want simply plan to forward all money to the scholarship fund.
