It would nice if lumberton beat dayton but if they do i could only imagine what lumberton fans will be saying on here! They will let that win go to there heads and slip up in other district games missing out on the playoffs......but we shall see!

Playoff yes they have a shot lumberton has great leadership and were in most of the district games they played last year besides dayton. having many returning seniors helps I just think state is really unrealistic. I don't like people talking smack last year lumberton 3-0 with only one win in district not to mention losing to ozen a team who went 1-9 on the year only beating us. This year will be highly competitive and just say "if" lumberton beats dayton last night they can't get too cocky and let any district they should win slip up and lose

As a lumberton alum i try and support lumberton  but i find it hard to when people post stupid topics and such as lumberton going  to state? Having history is one thing and we don't we never have been to the playoffs before in (football) atleast! That being said i wish lumberton the best!

Lumberton lost 55-7 this year and they'll atleast cut that in has this year dayton 48 lumberton 24

Yeah I'm an alum of Lumberton  and last year people were getting on here and saying the same thing and it really irritate's me to see it! I want lumberton to be successful but you shouldn't say anything unless you have done something. Lumberton has improved alot but new caney, bridge city, and cleveland aren't anybody compared to our district. Teams like nederland,pn-g, have tradition as well as the other schools in our district. Like I said I support lumberton but I wouldn't say anything until we beat a quality district team or make the playoffs. I would hate to have a repeat of talking smack and finishing the season off like last year's!

Lumberton improved but won't be able to deal with dayton's size and will have problem's stopping a mobile quarter back (Cody Green) look at last year against central they couldn't stop brandon williams even though lumberton lost 22-14 brandon williams was the difference in the game!It wont be nearly as bad a last year and it is in lumberton so I will take dayton winning 45-24 Lumberton has depth at running back but defensively hasn't been testing yet the only way they have a shot is  to keep it close early and win the turnover battle

Scheduling cupackes will boost lumberton's confidence up however they are improved im going to wait until district lumberton has improved  by saying that also last year they only won one district game but were in most of them besides dayton that is an improvement from previous year's I see them going 5-5 overall or 6-4 at best finishing 3-4 in district at best I still think it will be

A good win again for lumberton but as a lumberton alum I'm still not impressed I do see much improvement but however I'm going to wait until district to state my opinion will new caney,brigde city, and cleveland help prepare lumberton for district I don't know  :-\ ??? but congrads raiders!

Yeah Jags it's going to be a toss up between central and LC-M i just had LC-M higher than yall on the senior leadership they should have im not sure on what central has and maybe dayton a lil high it really should be a toss up between central dayton and LCM should be fun to watch

Here's my prediction's.......

1.Ozen-the most talented team in district

2.Dayton

3.LC-M-Returning almost every player from last year's roster watch out

4.Central

5.Nederland-Will do better than last year but this team is still young atleast 1 more year from being a playoff contender

6.Vidor

7.PN-G

I have Lumberton finishing atleast 5-5 with all the starters back possibly 6-4 at best they should win all of the non-district games they have because the don't play anybody but small 3A schools. In district i see them possibly winning 2-3 games. This is a very tough district but lumberton were in quite a few district games last year when I say that i mean they didnt get blown out really in anygame besides dayton and nederland but who knows?
