I just categorically disagree with you that he would do a good job.  Just cannot see it.  Would be a huge mistake in my opinion!!!!  My gut tells me that support, financial or otherwise, for LU would dry up quicker than a mud puddle in the Sahara!!!!
How can you in any form of honesty say that. BISD was near bankrupt when he took over. Today BISD is in excellent financial shape. Whereas many area school districts fired educators, BISD fired no one and gave educators a raise. Please explain...
 2. Very unfair to you to judge what is in Dr Thomas heart after the local media lynched him., Again, remember the liberal media had polls believing Bush was the worlds greatest danger. The media has become irresponsible and dangerous. Look at the Obama vs Romney polls.
First, I didn't make that comparison. But lets say I did. [b]The fact that UL-Monroe is able to win these mismatch games on a budget much smaller than Lamar's athletic budget.
I pride myself on not being in any camp. Conservatives think I am a left wing loon, liberals call be a right wing nutt job. I am a thinker, so it is difficult for me too tow a line. I usually have a better idea. Back to Lamar, I sure hope they make the Hawaii game competitive or win it. Woodard needs too pull out all the tricks.
"Nice win, but not as impressive as UL-Monroe beating 8th ranked Arkansas."  Your original statement, and my thinking friend, that certainly is a comparison.
Ok fine. UL-Monroe budget is smaller than Lamar's therefore we should be able to do the samething. Bring on Hawaii.

 12.
Sell Out crowd this week.  Seems like someone would be paying more attention to us with the crowds we keep drawing.  Imagine if we were actually good at football how many would be at the game!!!
If Lamar could put up a good fight against Hawaii....
 13. Great win, but not as impressive as UL-Monroe beating 8th ranked Arkansas.
 14.
PV 45 Lamar 20
Woodard would not have a job after a score like that.
 15. Pat Knight is trying to give an inexperience team some experience. Lamar record won't be very good this year going  into conference, however Lamar will dominate in the SLC. ORU and Lamar fighting the championship.
 16.
Lamar doesn't need to go anywhere until they are contention to win the Southland. I think UTEP makes a lot more sense to join the MWC than Lamar.
For the 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 time, schools don't choose conferences. If schools chose conferences, then I choose Lamar to join the SEC or BIG 12. Conferences invites schools on their time table, not schools time table. And if the SBC or MWC invite Lamar, ready or NOT, Lamar needs to say yes. Or risk being stuck in the SLC FOREVER. UTEP would need to pay 5 million exit fee to leave CUSA to play in a conference with no Texas schools:NO Houston, DFW, San Antonio, Tulsa, or New Orleans. So does it really make sense for UTEP to go MWC?

They should rename it we-are-obsessed-with-hating-on-Lamar.com. 90 percent of the non-SHSU post are hate Lamar post. Seriously, there are more post on Lamar there than on this site.
Kind of ironic, being that the only one ever discussing Katfans.com on this site is you
What is ironic about that?
 18.
No comment, UNLV.  I am kinda surprised
If Texas st gets the MWC invite, Texas st our TSU-system member will be key to getting Lamar in as travel partner.
 19. No one really expected Lamar to win, we expected to see some improvement and hope. I see improved talent from year 1, but the coaching is not improving.
 20. I thought this was local rankings. How is La Porte local?
 21. I blame the coaches for being so un-imaginative. When you have a David vs Goliath situation, you think out side the box.
